Building a System of Gen Ed Teacher Leadership for Quality Sheltered Instruction

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Learn how Renton’s EL model harnesses general education teacher leadership to promote quality sheltered instruction of P-12 EL students. We’ll cover how we started and how we’ve sustained our program for 10 years. We will share practices that will help you and pitfalls to avoid. We've learned too much over the years not to share with you! While we use SIOP, our systems can be applied to any version of Supportive Mainstream models, or really, any educational initiative managed from the central office.
